I've been a SBI! site owner since 2001, since the very beginning of Site Build It! actually. And that means I have seen a lot of changes with SBI! I've seen a lot of improvements, and a lot of new stuff!

The reason for this price change? Well, SiteSell - the people behind SBI! - realise that many people simply couldn't afford the yearly cost, especially since the recent worldwide financial crisis took hold, and so they came up with this monthly payment option.

Actually, SBI owners have been able to renew their SBI! subscription on a monthly basis for quite some time, but paying for your first year - the hardest year (with the greatest learning curve) for any SBI ownership - is new. And SiteSell need to be convinced that those that pay monthly are just as committed to their SBI! sites as those that pay yearly.

So that's why the monthly payment option is a time-limited offer (#) - it could end at any time, if SiteSell think the monthly payment option isn't working (SBI! requires commitment to get it to work, and those that pay monthly *could* give up more easily).

Anyway, the monthly payment option is an exciting development for SBI!

New Collection of Site Templates

A new collection of HTML templates have been created that can be used by those that want to build their own pages, and those that use the more traditional block builder.

The templates, all built using CSS stylesheets - which mean faster loading pages that are easier to maintain and designed to be compatible with the very latest web browsers - look great, as you'll see from this snapshot of the new template selection program...

SBI2-4U.com Launches! -- SBI! Gets 'Social'

SBI2-4U.com is a brand new site that's been developed by SiteSell AND hundreds of SBI! site owners (aka SBIers).

And why is this interesting to you? Well, basically SBI2-4U.com is a working, walking, talking example of SBI!. And t particularly highlights the powerful content creation module (called Content 2.0 or C2) that allows site visitors to create their own pages.

Site Build It! becomes Site Build It! version 2.0

In short, Site Build It! incorporated a module called Content 2.0 (that enables SBI! site owners to literally get their site visitors to write content for them) for the same price

So SBI! + Content 2.0 = SBI! 2.0

Clever, eh!

Content 2.0 is the biggest single development for SBI!. It's been around for a couple of years and many SBIers have had huge success with it. (My own success with Content 2.0 (or C2) is much more modest - you can see how I encourage site visitors to add content to my self-help website at this page: Your Story! - as I still haven't quite worked out how to get the best out of C2. But I will.)

But not all SBIers used C2, however, as it used to cost $99 per year extra!

But now the C2 module is included in the price of SBI! (US$299 per year)

So now all SBIers can use the C2 module. Now all can encourage their site visitors to write content for their websites. Which not only means more pages, but also more involvement, too!

Brainstorm It! v3 Launches

Brainstorm It! is my favourite of the SBI! tools. It's a keyword research tool without equal in my humble opinion. Not only does this tool let you decide what your site concept is going to be about in the first place - it generates keywords, based on your interests, and provides comprehensive supply and demand stats - it also allows provides you with enough data to be determine what your individual pages should be about.

Yes, you have to write the content, but Brainstorm It! lets you know whether the topic of the page should be 'how to be happy' or finding happiness or both (or neither).

And, yes, there are other keyword generation tools (e.g. Wordtracker) but this one is incorporated into SBI! as, in my opinion, superior. (In actually fact, Brainstorm It! utilises some aspects of Wordtracker to some degree.)

But now, with Brainstorm It! v3, the interface has been changed so that it's much cleaner and easier to use AND it allows you to quickly discover the most profitable keywords at the click of a button. This is a powerful improvement, believe me!

1) You use Brainstorm It! to generate the happiness related keywords in the first place using a combination of SiteSell proprietary data and Wordtracker)
