Without Site Build It!...Hello. If you've read any of this free guide
to Site Build It!, you'll know that my name is Steve M Nash and you'll also know
that I've been making a living out of my websites since 2001. And most of those
websites were not built using SBI!. You'll also know that I'm a fan
of SBI! and am the proud owner of 2 SBI!-created websites (I even created
a diary of my site-building efforts for my second SBI! site, SelfHelpCollective.com,
which you can read here: My SBI! Diary.) What
all of this means is that I know a thing or two about building successful websites
- with and without SBI!. And so I thought it would be useful to compare site building,
with and without SBI!, here Okay? :-) Here goes, then... How

WITH Site Build It!Okay, the tips (or
steps) involved are quite straightforward: Step 1: Purchase
Site Build It!*
Step 2:
Follow the SBI! Action Guide completely, or watch the take the SBI video tour* (or do both) - and take the action required, relentlessly That's
it. If you follow the two steps above you will be well on your way to building
a successful SBI! website. Of course, you could always build a successful
website without using Site Build It!, as I did a few years ago... How

WITHOUT Site Build It!I've built several
successful websites, actually, and this introduction to my 2-part article shows
the steps I take when creating a website. I include only the steps involved, and
if you want to learn more then please visit the article links! == Aside

The article assumes that you can design websites - you know about HTML,
JavaScript, Perl/CGI, page design and usability etc. - or you know someone who
can design websites.
If you can't design websites, then I suggest you
visit The Newbie Club to learn about HTML etc. (or buy a web design book from
Amazon).

Note: all of the steps above (step 1 to step 13 of creating a site
without SBI!) are contained in step2 of creating a site with SBI!. But in the
latter case, using the Action Guide and discussing progress with other SBIers
(who use the Action Guide) in the private SBI! forum, provides a proven step-by-step
framework to building a successful website. AND you have all the tools
needed to do take those steps. Without SBI! you need to spend time finding the
resources you'll need, and this could be a lot of time - as there are lots of

do things, and that has never been truer with building a successful website. Personally,
and after years of doing things the hard way, I believe that surest way to website
success - for almost everyone, independent of skills and expertise - is to build
